I Bet You Didn’t Know…

I graduated with a duel empahsis (genre fiction & screenwriting) M.F.A. from Western Colorado State University in 2016. I went back to Western and got a M.A. in publishing, which I completed in 2022

I started Writing to be Read in 2010. Prior to that, and afer for several years, I served as the Southern Colorado Literature Examiner, where I met many authors and poets, most virtually, as I launched my own writing career.

I have reviewed more than 800 books, audiobooks, and movies.

I have interviewed over 300 authors, both renowned and rising stars.

WordCrafter Press has hosted and produced two vitual writing conferences featuring over 30 different authors.

My poem “Intimacy and the Harliquin Dance” was featured in part, in the painting by Mitch Brown, “Intimacy”. It was displayed at the Keliedescope Gallery, in Battle Sea Park, in London until it’s sale in 201o.

In 2019, I served as a Spur Award judge for the western romance category for the Western Writers of America.

I compiled and edited Weird Tales: Best of the Early Years 1926-27 with Jonathan Maberry, and served on the editing team for Gilded Glass: Twisted Myths & Shattered Fairy Tales, under Kevin J. Anderson, WordFire Press, and Western Colorado State University.
