When I was working as a registered music therpist in a nursing home years ago, I once walked into a resident’s room to discover he’d not only pooped in his bed but somehow created a trail of droppings around the bed. Though I didn’t have to clean it up, I accidentally stepped in it because, being visually impaired, I didn’t see it until it was too late. I learned an important lesson that day. When you walk into a room and smell fecies, look down.
