This month, I thought I would share a few ideas for making fun Easter creations using Easter eggs and fondant. Children love making things and modelling fondant is similar to modelling play dough.
I used candy coated hens eggs to make my creations but you can use any hens eggs sized Easter egg.

If you don’t have cutters, you can just cut the shapes freehand.

Hi Colleen, it is my pleasure. I’m breaking my baking and fondant art book into parts now like Carol has done. Makes it more manageable.

Robbie, I am a sad, sorry case when it comes to cooking or baking. If I tried to follow your clear, detailed directions, my result would probably be like child’s. 🙂Thank goodness for your talent!

Hi Jennie, that’s okay, you have other talents. Actually, I thought of you when I wrote this post. There is a simpler Easter egg design activity I used to do with my Sunday school. We used to paint the eggs with food colouring. They loved it.
