Robert L. Williams was born in Lynwood, California, but raised in Grants Pass, Oregon. After six years in the Air Force, he received two B.A. degrees from Southern Oregon University: one in English – Writing Emphasis, and the other in Spanish Literature. Additionally, he has completed 99% of the coursework for a M.Ed. He currently works as a Mental Health Clinician. When not writing, he enjoys genealogical research and reading his favorite author, Robert A. Heinlein. Escape of the Stardust Odyssey is an idea that has been bouncing around in the author’s head for over 40 years.

The author lives in Grayland, Washington, with his wife, step-daughter, and three dogs with lots of attitude.
