The 2026 Canadian Reading Challenge

Check out the 2026 Canadian Reading Challenge. I may do this even though I live in the U.S. I recommend Mark Leslie’s works. What a great way to discover new authors. One book a month by a Canadian author. That’s not so hard.

Thanks for highlighting this challenge, Kaye. I just checked out Mark Leslie, and although I don’t read werewolf type stories, after reading the synopsis, I think I will give Canadian Werewolf in New York a try.

You’ll like it, Carla. He also has a series on haunted places and he does trivia books related to Planes, Trains, and Automobiles and one on the Die Hard movies. He’s an interesting guy. I think you’ll enjoy the Canadian Werewolf series. You only get the human side, because he doesn’t remember when he’s changed, so not super violent or bloody.Really interferes with his love life though. Lol.
Actually, if you search the archives, I think I’ve reviewed most of them.

I’m really looking forward to it, Kaye. Many Canadian authors who are well known write really depressing books in my opinion, so this sounds like a wonderful change.
